Botanica -the complete series- opened on August 7, 2008 at the Subte Municipal, Montevideo. The exhibition consisted of 86 photographs which were made during a three year project. All were printed in 20x24inches fiberbase paper by the author.
Federico Rubio is represented in Uruguay by Galeria del Paseo and his work has been featured in Buenos Aires Photo and arteBA, during 2008 and 2009. A small selection of Botanica will be on view at Lima Photo (Peru), August 2010.
